Do you know anyone who you think deserves a medal?
If so, nominate them for the Cheltenham Medal of Honour. The Medal of Honour Award was introduced to give recognition to the magnificent contribution that some of our citizens have made to our community over a period of not less than 10 years continuous service.
Nominations are considered by an independent panel and all information is treated on a confidential basis. Medals and framed citations are presented during the Inauguration of the Mayor ceremony in May.
The valuable voluntary contribution made to the community by many people means that each year a judgement has to be made as to who receives the award. The re-submission of nominations that meet the criteria is welcomed.
If you would like to receive a nomination form, or further information on the scheme, please contact Jennie Ingram, Cheltenham Medal of Honour Committee, Municipal Offices, Promenade, Cheltenham GL50 9SA or telephone Cheltenham 01242 264108 by Friday 11th March 2011
